Resilience foam is a GripWorks proprietary material that was designed specifically to meet the demand for an attractive and soft, yet highly durable foam grip or tube. Created from a blend of plastic and rubber, it features a unique textured surface that simulates our extremely popular Softex™ formula.
High Resilience foam has proven to be a very popular choice for use on high end fitness equipment and other products where quality and durability are of paramount importance. Since this material is extruded, it is the most cost effective material for creating long textured tubing and grips. Most dip molded grips, buffed foam grips and tubing are limited to about two feet in length while high Resilience grips and Resilience tubing can be made much longer.
Styles
High Resilience foam grips and tubes are only used in their raw extruded form.("Sculpting" removes outer layer or skin. Learn more.) For custom designs utilizing the sculpting or buffing process, one can utilize NPVC or EPDM.
